Have you meant to make mindfulness and/or meditation part of your self-care routine, but just not managed to keep it up? A regular practice can help create a habit that lasts and does wonders for your health and wellbeing.
My approach to mindfulness is this: Mindfulness is simply paying attention to what we choose to pay attention to at one particular moment. Of course, that’s simply the starting point. When we bring mindfulness to how we work and live it can make dramatic changes in our lives, especially with all the stress we are under of late.
Meditation is a great tool to train our minds to be mindful, and I teach what I call Microdosed Mindfulness, a simple way to bring mindfulness forward in small amounts that stack up over time, To help you sleep better, lower stress and reactivity, help you be more resilient with all that life throws at you.
I offer a free 30-minute mindfulness talk with a short meditation each Friday from 9 to 9:30 AM PT. In these sessions, I introduce simple impactful concepts that guide beginners or experienced practitioners in living life more mindfully. Think of it an opportunity to learn some new tools and take time for yourself at the end of the week, kicking off your mindset for the weekend.
The session takes place on Zoom and you are welcome to join via video or voice on any device. All are welcome to participate, no experience needed.
