While we may assume we know who our market is and what their interests are, Facebook users are a complex bunch and marketing takes some fascinating and revealing twists when you really look at individual demographics, their habits, and interests. After all, Facebook’s business is to categorize and filter, so why not take advantage of all the data they are collecting to be more effective with our marketing?
Fortunately, Facebook supplies a free tool called Audience Insights we can use to learn more about our market without wasting money to narrow the field down to a reasonable size. Here’s a quick look at the tool. To access the Audience Insights tab go to Ads manager and click on tools, then Audience Insights.
