Social Media Workshop at SFWoW
If you know me personally you’ve heard me talk about San Francisco Women on the Web (SFWoW) a lot. This group of women and men has been a fantastic resource for almost 10 years. If I need a designer, a coder, writer, SEO expert or just plain good advice, SFWOW is one of my first places to turn to. So I’m excited that I’ll be part of a workshop about Social Media on Nov 5 for SFWoW.
Even, better, I’ll be presenting with the fabulous email and online marketing guru Anna Billstrom. Anna writes about email marketing and social media for Marketing Sherpa, Marketing Profs and her own blog, Adventures in Email Marketing.
Together we’ll run through some of the basic concepts of social media, give you some great examples of social media at work, some bloopers to save you a little pain yourself, and the tools to get your own social media marketing campaign off the ground. So come on, sign up for the event, and shoot me an email
and let me know you’ll be there. There will be time for networking with some of San Francisco’s best women and men on the web before the presentation as well.
