I’m excited to be on an upcoming panel for the SDForum Tech Women and SDForum Marketing SIGs,Thursday Sept 24 from 6-9PM at Apple’s Cupertino Campus. The panel will be led by Jo Miller, CEO, Women’s Leadership Coaching Inc., and sitting on the panel with me will be;Sheena Gogna Business Development Associate, LinkedIn and Ravit Lichtenberg Founder & Chief Strategist of Ustrategy, LLC.

The panels is all about using social media networks and tools for professional development. As social media becomes more ubiquitous we’re finding ways to use it to develop and maintain a reputation and a personal brand as well as educate ourselves with the latest news and information available. So how do you do that productively and effectively? We’re going to tell you!

  • I started an internet related business a few years ago and just recently become interested in “Social Media” and getting my business off of the ground with it. Within about 2 months, I found myself giving presentations on social media topics for our local South Louisiana economic development organization.

    It was awesome to get into the world of presenting and helping others learn about what social media has to offer.

    I am definitely going to try to make more Louisiana presentations soon.
