Got some time to serve?
I’m not sure how you could have missed it, but we are in the middle of Mozilla Service week! Service week runs September 14 to 21st and they need your help! Mozilla teamed up with idealist.org, betterplace.org, OneWebDay and many other organizations striving to make the world a better place and collected thousands of requests for help. Many of these are very small tasks that wouldtake just a few minutes of your time.
This is an opportunity to make a difference in the world with just a little bit of your time and expertise.
As part of my service I’m working with Abundant Water with a little social media coaching as well as help with their WordPress blog. They still need help with SEO on their site and they are looking for Twitter advocates to help them get the word out about their innovative and grassroots effort to enable almost anyone to make their own clay water filters to purify their drinking water.
Can you help? Email them at firstname.lastname@example.org and get involved.
SO. What are you doing for Mozilla Service Week? Can’t you spare a little of your time? Sign up now and find someone you can help.
