That's why I paid for the service to have it backup to my own Amazon S3 account. I own the data and I can access it any time, but it's not stored on my home machine or laptop where it can then disappear or be copied. (the list goes on)... accounts all backed up by a single entity? This entity - <a href="http://backupify.com" rel="nofollow">backupify.com</a> - now knows more about me than each of those sites do separately. Also, it provides a single-point-of-breakage for hackers to attack.
