I Knew You’d Help and You Did!
I wrote a post last week asking for your help for a little boy who has overcome amazing odds and we are raising funds for him to get the medical treatment he needs. As I knew you would you pitched in and helped by donating, spreading the word through your social media networks. People came up with ideas for fund raisers and tweetups and donated their time to help find ways to get Rimaan the medical help he needs so desperately. We’ve raised over $8,000 for Rimaan and the funds are still coming in. We hope to reach our goal of $17,000 for Rimaan’s Hyperbaric Chamber by June 10.
Unique opportunities presented themselves like this one from the Paypal Developer Challenge winner Rentalic. If you need to rent a green screen for a film in LA, a ladder in San Mateo or a guitar amp in Oakland, you can rent it cheaply from a neighbor instead of buying it. Rentalic is donating to the Help a Lost Child fund for every registration, rental or even just inviting a friend! You can add to Rimaan’s fund that easily. You don’t even have to rent anything, just register and tell your friends about the site.
Thank you so much for your support!
