The NTEN conference was an amazing experience for me. Just after my Twitter session I ran into JD Lasica from Socialbrite.org and we talked a bit about Twitter for nonprofits. A shame that Tipjoy is shutting down, we liked them!

Tim Ferriss did a presentation at WordCamp SF this year that really was just plain useful. “How to build traffic without killing yourself” is the title of the  video. You should watch it.

The video is posted from the talk I did with Anna Billstrom for SFWOW on social media marketing tips and tricks. There are some interesting case studies and plently of use examples. It was a really great group, and I’m honored to have been asked to participate. In the beginning of the video I’m talking about the San Francisco Exploratorium Museum’s social media use.

Another top notch animated film from commoncraft. This one tells us the story of social media via ice cream.

This is one of my favorite videos explaining Web 2.0. It shows in a nutshell how the advances in Web 2.0 will change our lives both as coders and as users of the code created.

LisaNova is a popular satirist on the web and she’s no holds barred in this video about Twitter. It’s a perfect example of what most people who have only heard of Twitter but not yet found a way to use it think of the popular microblogging site.
It’s true, there are a lot of people who Twitter like this and they can really be annoying. Don’t be one of them.
